Happy to give someone a lift to the airport?
In dire need of some computer help? Willing and able to help someone redecorate their sitting room?
Longing for a home-made cake but don't know where to start?
Or just keen to socialise and make new friends in the Wallingford area?
Well, you've made the first step in the right direction, welcome to Wallingford LETS website LETS stands for Local Exchange Trading Scheme, and it allows our members to exchange skills, goods and services without using money. It's like an organised barter system and we have a 'currency' called Castles.
n Ann could help Bob with some decorating, and receive a LETS cheque for 15 Castles n Later she could ask Carol for some help in the garden, and give her a LETS cheque for 10 Castles n So she'd still have 5 Castles left to use for another trade
